For those of you that do not wish to participate in this plan, remember that the wiring leaving the NID box going to the inside of your residence, inside wiring, and jacks are your responsibility. Please follow the instructions below if you have any problems with your phone line:


  1. Test with a REGULAR phone (not a cordless) at the NID box.

    • If there is no dial tone, the problem is on our end — Call our office.

    • If there is a dial tone, the problem is on your end.

  2. Unplug EVERYTHING from phone jacks – phones, answering machine, computer, satellite receivers, fax machine, etc.

  3. Test jacks & your equipment one at a time until you find the problem.
